Our 2022 Year-in-Review
Revenue Cycle Management Company Savista Celebrates New Brand, and Tremendous Organizational and Business Growth in 2022
(Alpharetta, GA) February 7, 2023
Savista, a healthcare revenue cycle management services company with 30 years of experience, heads into 2023 with explosive momentum. On the heels of a major brand relaunch in November 2022, Savista finished the year strong with a 41% increase in year-over-year sales, with Q3 marking the highest bookings in company history. Savista was also named a Top 20 BPO Healthcare Company by Healthcare Business Review and entered its largest partnership to date with Titus Regional Medical Center, a premier organization in Northeast Texas dedicated to being a catalyst in rural America, transcending barriers to health through a culture of excellence and compassion. Savista is providing services for a five-year term across Coding, Accounts Receivable (AR) and Charge Description Master (CDM).
Savista saw outstanding results across several of its service offerings. As one of the largest employers of Certified Tumor Registrars and Clinical Data Abstractors, Savista abstracted 155K cases with greater than 96% accuracy. The company also completed annual follow-ups on 300K patients. In the area of Heath Information Management (HIM), Savista consistently exceeded contractual performance expectations, meeting SLAs by 95% or better all year. Savista also exceeded other operational benchmarks for other clients like Wake Forest, University of New Mexico, Lane Regional and Naples Community Hospital, despite a challenging labor market.
“We are extremely proud of the tremendous growth we experienced in 2022,” said Jan Grimm, CEO, Savista. “I’m so grateful for our talented and goal-driven colleagues, who have made significant impacts in the revenue cycle management industry and helped our clients meet and exceed their goals.”
Colleague-Focused Growth
In 2022, Savista also experienced immense internal growth as a result of recruitment efforts, giving back, and professional development opportunities for colleagues. The revenue cycle management company earned its second Great Places to Work certification and welcomed 1,303 new colleagues into the organization.
Through Savista’s CARE Program, colleagues donated 657 PTO hours to fellow colleagues who needed extra time away from work. Savista colleagues are also given 40 hours of PTO annually to volunteer at nonprofit organizations of their choice and in 2022 they volunteered a total of 4,535 hours.
Lastly, the company is focused on colleague retention and success and launched several new programs to foster professional growth including its Coder Career Pathway, Cancer Registry Apprenticeship program and a Mental Health Training program for managers.
